8:45am - 3:00pm - All Day Companion Tour ~ Panama Viejo Panoramic Tour of City + Lunch (dress casual/comfortable shoes)

Panama City Tour. We start with a visit to the first city founded by the Spanish on the Pacific Ocean: Panama Viejo (entrance fee included). Panorama tour through the contemporary towns of Punta Pacifica, Ave Balboa, Cinta Costera. Walk through the Casco Aníguo, and visit the Interoceanic Museum (entrance fees included). 

City Tour iniciamos con la visita a lo que fue la primera ciudad fundada por los españoles en el Pacífico, Panamá Viejo (entrada incluida). Recorrido panorámico por la ciudad moderna, Punta Pacífica, Ave Balboa, Cinta Costera. Caminata por el Casco Antiguo, visita al Museo Interoceánico (entrada incluida). Almuerzo en Casa Catedral

We will enjoy lunch at Casa Catedral, a house with more than 400 years of history. Their mission is to give you an incomparable Mediterranean gastronomic experience, surrounded by culture from every era, between the thirties and eighties, from a magnificent collection of 1916 classic cars to the recreation of various eras in every corner, photos, record players, hats, writing machines, and music that sets the scene.  Check out Casa Catedral..

SATURDAY, MAY 20TH

9:00am-12:00pm - Companion Tour of the Canal Museum at Old Town (dress casual/comfortable shoes)

9:00 Departure from the hotel for a visit to the Interoacenic Canal Museum. 10:00am Start of the tour of the museum, the most complete and organized in the country, with the history of the most important events that motivated the U.S. to negotiate with the Panamanian government, ending with the signing of the Torrijos & Carter Treaty, which ended U.S. control in the strip. We will return to the hotel at 12:00pm and join the group for lunch at Tejas Restaurant.

9:00 Salida del hotel para visitar el Museo del Canal Interoceánico. 10:00am Inicio del recorrido por el museo, el más completo y organizado del país, con la historia de los hechos más importantes que motivaron a Estados Unidos a negociar con el gobierno panameño, finalizando con la firma del Tratado Torrijos & Carter, que puso fin al control estadounidense en la franja. Regresaremos al hotel a las 12:00pm y nos reuniremos con el grupo para almorzar en el Restaurante Tejas.

1:15-5:30pm - Panama Canal Tour for all attendees (dress casual/comfortable shoes)

At 1:15pm we will board a bus to the iconic Panama Canal Miraflores Visitor Center. The Panama Canal is an artificial 82-kilometre waterway in Panama that connects the Atlantic Ocean with the Pacific Ocean, cutting across the Isthmus of Panama, and is a conduit for maritime trade. Our bus will depart for our return to the hotel at 5:00pm. 

A las 13:15 subiremos a un autobús que nos llevará al emblemático Centro de Visitantes de Miraflores del Canal de Panamá. El Canal de Panamá es una vía navegable artificial de 82 kilómetros en Panamá que conecta el Océano Atlántico con el Océano Pacífico, cortando a través del Istmo de Panamá, y es un conducto para el comercio marítimo. Nuestro autobús partirá de regreso al hotel a las 17:00 horas.

9:00am Departure from Panama City to the Province of Colon, the area of Costa Abajo, crossing to the western side of the Gatun Locks, following the road to what was once Ft. Sherman, we continue until we reach the new Atlantic Bridge, a beautiful road until we reach the ruins of Castillo de San Lorenzo.

9:00am Salida de la Ciudad de Panamá hacia la Provincia de Colón, el área de Costa Abajo, cruzando al lado oeste de las Esclusas de Gatún, siguiendo el camino hacia lo que fue el Fuerte Sherman, continuamos hasta llegar al nuevo Puente Atlántico, un hermoso camino hasta llegar a las ruinas del Castillo de San Lorenzo.

The Castillo de San Lorenzo, Real de Chagres, is located at the entrance of the Chagres River in the Province of Colon. In 1980, it was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Its ruins are one of the oldest Spanish fortresses in America. Located on a cliff near what was the old seat of the town of Cagres, at the mouth of the river of the same name, it was through this river that the pirate Henry Morgan, in 1671, came to Panama City, the Old, to plunder it. 

El Castillo de San Lorenzo, Real de Chagres, está situado a la entrada del río Chagres, en la provincia de Colón. En 1980 fue declarado Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO. Sus ruinas son una de las fortalezas españolas más antiguas de América. Situada sobre un acantilado cerca de lo que fue la antigua sede de la ciudad de Cagres, en la desembocadura del río del mismo nombre, fue por este río por donde el pirata Henry Morgan, en 1671, llegó a la ciudad de Panamá, la Vieja, para saquearla.

Members are advised to check the visa regulations to find out whether they need to apply for a visa and to do so in a timely manner.  To find out if you require a visa, please visit the local embassy website for your region.  Your visa may require a letter of invitation from Integra International, to obtain this please contact  Rosa Flores, LATAM Administrator  as soon as possible to ensure your visa is approved in a timely manner.

Attire is business casual for all business sessions. The dress code for the welcome reception, meals, and events is smart casual unless otherwise stated. Remember to dress appropriately for weather .
